Book Fairs Are Back, Baby!
So, I’m pretty exciting to share the news that I am officially preparing for my first in-person author event. I will be attending the Indie Author Book Fair on November 15th at South Cobb Regional Library. I was a little surprised to hear that book fairs were still a thing for adults, but I’m here for it. Maybe it’s the fever dream memories I have of being a ten year old let loose in my school’s scholastic book fair with a ten dollar bill and what felt like endless possibilities, but I think I’m as thrilled to be attending this event as I am participating. I’m sure I will be breaking out the old wallet in support of a few of my fellow indie authors.
Speaking of the event itself, I intend to be there for the duration of the event, from 11-4. I will be have my books in both paperback and hardcover available for purchase and signing, speaking with people from the community and readers. I also am happy to announce they have asked me to be part of a panel! I will be participating in the “Getting Started: Tips For Aspiring Authors” panel during the event. I am by no means an expert, but having just gone through all of the craziness of publishing my first novel, I am extremely excited to share what tips and tricks I have learned.
